ROOTS: I am Science: is a science enrichment, interdisciplinary, community-based program. ROOTS is used to refer to the call for environmental sustainability beyond geographic boundaries. ‘I am Science’ is used to refer to students’ self-identification with science.
The program aims to engage 8-12 year old students and their families in science investigations rooted within authentic problems located in their local community. As part of the program the students will engage in fun investigations and cool science experiments with the use of simple materials.
TIME / PLACE: every Saturday 10.30-12, Meeting point Youth Center, Beijum 17
